The most effective method to test it is to measure the resistance between the ECU and the sensor. It should read about 1000 ohms when the sensor is operating at its maximum. 2. Injectors
Yesterday, while accelerating at full speed from the highway paytoll i had massive power loss like the engine is running out of gas or injectors are not firing anymore. I pulled out the spark plugs this morning, 3 were soaked in gasoline, and the 4th was dry. I put tissue over each injector hole and when i turn the engine on without sparks, the three that have gazoline pop right out. The 4th one remains closed. I tested the ground connection of ECU pins 14,30, and 48/55. I found 0ohm. I'm assuming the issue is in another place.
I also tried to reset the PID without success. The audi car key replacement will start when the G28 is not plugged in and runs fine when it is plugged in, but still has the intermittent misfire issue at higher RPM. The temperature sensor for coolant (G62) shows the wrong temp value -49c, even if I unplug it. I'm not sure what to do, as i think i've pretty much completely ruled out all other possibilities. However, i'm afraid that I might have missed something. If anyone has any ideas please share them! TIA!
